Our story
A garden where children grow
The Children's Garden has welcomed Stoke and Nelson families for many years. We believe early childhood is a season of wonder — to be nurtured slowly, gently, and with plenty of fresh air.
Our centre is built around the rhythms of nature — gardens to dig in, sand and water to explore, art to create, and quiet corners to rest. Our teachers are warm, qualified, and committed to knowing every child as an individual.
We work alongside whānau to support each child's learning journey, guided by Aotearoa New Zealand's early childhood curriculum, Te Whāriki.
